Ikon offers a rage of free activities aimed at families and young visitors.
Family Saturdays
First Saturday of every month, 2–5pm, FREE
Open to all ages, including adults, this series of hands-on creative activities will engage, challenge and inspire. There is no need to book, just drop in at any point during the session. Please note that children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
School holiday workshops
The Education & Interpretation team strive to develop and facilitate family workshops during school holidays. Please see the diary for details of forthcoming events.
Young visitor’s gallery guide
Ikon currently produces a Young visitor’s gallery guide for primary school aged children which contains short activities for children to undertake in the gallery with space for drawing. The guides come with a free set of colouring pencils that can be used in the gallery and taken home.
