IKON

Ikon at Perrott's Folly

21 April 2009
Perrott's Folly

Ikon is currently showing work by Sofia Hultén at Perrotts Folly , the dramatic
18th century Birmingham landmark. Perrott’s Folly was closed to the public for over twenty years until it was reopened last year as part of a major exhibition of work by German artist Jürgen Partenheimer, organised by Ikon. Following the success of that project, Ikon intends to stage exhibitions and events at Perrott’s Folly on a regular basis.

Hultén, whose work Familiars was presented at Ikon in 2007, has created a new installation inspired by the processes of restoration and reconstruction.
