An unprecedented collaboration between Ikon Gallery and The Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham, this was the first exhibition of work by Braco Dimitrijevic in Britain since 1985. The artist made a number of new works based on paintings by artists Vincent Van Gogh, Frans Hals, Luca Signorelli and Edouard Manet, loaned from The Barber.
This catalogue was published to coincide with the exhibition and features a foreword by Jonathan Watkins, Ikon Director and Richard Verdi, Director of The Barber at that time, an essay by critic Richard Cork, full colour images of the work, a selection of short stories by the artist, a biography and bibliography.
