Edition of 200, W460mm x H624mm, unframed

As both artist and activist, Nancy Spero’s career spanned over fifty years. Her continuous engagement with contemporary political, social and cultural concerns is renowned.

She chronicled wars and apocalyptic violence as well as articulating visions of ecstatic rebirth and the celebratory cycles of life with particular engagement in the role of women in society.

Spero’s solo exhibition at Ikon was the opening presentation at our then new venue in Brindleyplace in 1998. Of the edition, number 1-99 are signed on the front, while numbers 100-200 are unsigned. Prints are sold unframed.

Prints are £150 signed, £90 unsigned.
