DVD, 42 minutes, W 135mm x H190mm
Noam Chomsky responding to questions asked by Cornelia Parker at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 9 March 2007.
Parker interviewed Chomsky for the 41 minute piece, showing just his "talking"
head. But she only included his responses, not the questions. So the
video is still, with his head frozen, whilst the (silent) questions are
being posed. In some cases it is easy to figure out the question, in
others it is not.
With answers described as : 'vintage Chomsky: half polemic and half fascinating,' this superb DVD displays Chomsky's views on capitalism, global warming and other pertinent issues. Cornelia Parker offers insight and food for thought from one of the world's foremost thinkers.
