Published in collaboration with the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh, for Simon Patterson’s exhibition in Summer 2005, this lavishly illustrated, hardback catalogue offers a good visual overview of the artist’s work. The catalogue features essays by the Fruitmarket Director Fiona Bradley and writer and critic Michael Archer, as well as several texts by the artist himself including his statement for the exhibition 100 Artists See God curated by Jon Baldessari and Meg Cranston at the Jewish Museum, San Francisco and ICA, London, 2004.

The catalogue also presents a comprehensive range of full colour photographs of a number of the artists works including Untitled (Sails), Landskip, and annotated stills from the films Escape Routine and Time Piece as well as a selected biography of Patterson’s exhibitions, catalogues and interviews.
