An exciting opportunity to visit the Print Room at Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery, guided by Tessa Sidey, Curator of Prints and Drawings. This session looks closely at the Japanese print collection including work by Utamaro, Hiroshige, Kunisada and Hokusai, providing a rare insight into printing techniques and the ideas informing work of the period. This is a free event but places must be booked in advance by contacting Ikon on 0121 248 0708. Participants are asked to meet in the Round Room at Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery.
