Sunday 13 January, 2-5pm
£4 per person, includes tea/coffee and cake (payable on the day)
A practical introductory workshop for anyone thinking of sharing a story in Season 2 of Tell Me On A Sunday, our popular story telling project organised in collaboration with Writing West Midlands.
Did you love the stories in the Season 1, wish you could take to the stage yourself but have no clear idea how to go about it? This workshop is for you.
Cat Weatherill, host and curator of Tell Me On A Sunday, explains the concept and shows you how to:
• find the perfect story
• cut and shape it
• present it with confidence
Cat is joined by guests from the first season of Tell Me On A Sunday, who demonstrate stories and explain how the creative process works for them. There is also a chance to start telling and time for a Q & A. Cat is an inspiring and energetic workshop leader, who creates a supportive environment where aspiring tellers laugh and learn together.
Places are limited, to book please call Ikon on 0121 248 0708.
Tell Me On A Sunday starts again on 27 January, 5-7.30pm and the theme is City Living.
