Mariele Neudecker

Until Now

27 September – 12 October 2000

This exhibition included new ambitious works by Mariele Neudecker as well as a number of her acclaimed miniaturised romantic landscape sculptures. This presentation included a remarkable video installation depicting the simultaneous events of a sunset and sunrise over the sea in opposite locations on the globe - Southpoint, Australia and the most westerly island of the Azores. Also on display was a 'stretched skull' sculpture and an installation simulating a shaft of light from two gothic windows.
