As part of the city council’s Arts Champion Scheme. Birmingham-based artists Simon and Tom Bloor designed a set of brightly coloured banners featuring text and geometric patterns that lined Erdington’s High Street.
In addition, the artists also produced a large, black and white banner, situated in front of the gallery building, thus asserting the twinned relationship between the two locations.
